Meet your Justice of the Peace.
Donald Wayne Kendrick is a lifelong resident of Rapides Parish, Louisiana. Elected to the Office of Justice of the Peace Ward 11 on November 3, 2020, and taking office on January 1, 2021, for a 6-year term. He graduated from Buckeye High School and later graduated from the University of Louisiana Lafayette (ULL) with a bachelor of science degree. He has been a Registered Nurse (RN) since 1993 working in local hospital's emergency rooms and ICU units. Until recently he was the Director of Plant Operations for 18 years at a nearby hospital.
He currently serves part-time with the US Department of Health and Human Services, National Disaster Medical System (NDMS) from 2011 to today. He is a charter member of the Louisiana NDMS team. Currently serving as a Supervisory Clinical Registered Nurse during times of national disasters on an as-needed basis.
Donald Kendrick also served as a Military Police Officer (MP) in the Army National Guard from 1986-1992 with the rank of Sergeant (SGT).He later became a Commissioned Military Officer in the United States Army Reserve as a Registered Nurse from 1992-1994.
Married for 31 years to wife Indria Kendrick and father of three children, Charles, Valerie, and Samantha.
Areas served: All, or parts of Deville, Ruby, Kolin, Holloway, Libuse, Hickory Grove, Big Island, Buckeye, some Pineville addresses and all of Ward 11 Rapides Parish , Louisiana.
Performs weddings and marriage ceremonies in the above areas, Alexandria, Tioga, Ball, all of Rapides, and Grant Parishes.
